The University selected the team of Meyer Electric, Controlco and J. Louis Crum to upgrade the 115 pneumatically controlled VAV terminals to Direct Digital Controllers and replace the pneumatic hot water reheat valves to electronic valves utilizing press fit fittings. Since the building was an occupied medical facility with patient traffic during business hours, all work was performed after normal business hours. The existing pneumatic air source had to remain service during the process. The upgrade was coordinated such that each terminal was fully functional and integrated into the campus BAS prior to the following business day.
